Born in 2000 in Cantù (Italy), Alessandra Assi began studying piano at the G. Marziali Academy in Seveso. In 2022, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, where she was awarded a scholarship as Best Bachelor Student of the 2021/2022 academic year. She graduated with honours from the Master in Performance and is currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy under the guidance of Anna Kravtchenko.
She has been awarded prizes in numerous national and international competitions, including Second Prize at the Andrea Baldi Competition in Bologna and First Absolute Prize at the Val Tidone International Music Competition. She has also attended advanced masterclasses with Vincenzo Balzani, Vsevolod Dvorkin, and Irene Veneziano.
Alessandra has performed both as a soloist and in ensemble in various concert halls across Italy and Switzerland, including the Sporting Club of Monza, Piano City Milano, and the LAC in Lugano, within the framework of the 900presente concert series.
Alongside music, she has a long-standing passion for reading, writing, and the visual arts. In her free time, she devotes herself to portrait drawing and to reading historical and philosophical essays and novels.
